The Petersburg YMCA renovation totals 16,000 square feet and includes a new entrance lobby, child care area, café, community kitchen, community room, group exercise room and an expanded wellness facility. Renovations include improvements to the yoga room, sauna and locker rooms.

10th and Dairy, located in the master planned Dairy Central development in Charlottesville, is a new 226,000-square-foot mid-rise building with 180 one- and two-bedroom units. The Locks Tower is a 354,846-square-foot apartment development with 237 one- and two-bedroom units. With 11 floors above grade and one level below-grade, the residential high-rise precast concrete-frame is supported on shallow concrete foundations that bear on existing soils which were improved with engineered, grouted columns.

KBS has built several Wal-Mart Supercenter’s throughout Virginia and North Carolina since 2005.
Lidl Grocery Stores
KBS has contracted with Lidl to build multiple new stores in Virginia as a part of the German grocery retailer’s plan to enter the U.S. market. The 36,000-square-foot stores include exposed steel and ducts in the main sales floor and polished concrete throughout the store.
Publix Supermarket
The 53,000-square-foot store includes a bakery, a drive-thru pharmacy, deli, grocery, produce, seafood, meat and floral departments. The project also adds amenities such as a pharmacy with on-the-go medical clinic, Starbucks Cafe and event planning space.
Concrete Pipe and Precast Plant
The new 38,000-square-foot Concrete Pipe and Precast Perfect Manhole manufacturing facility is a pre-engineered metal building with 10-foot high concrete base panels with MAP metal siding above and a standing seam metal roof. The administrative offices have painted walls, VCT floors and sealed concrete with acoustical tile ceilings.
Saint Bridget School Expansion
This project includes the renovation of Westhampton Baptist Church, originally built in 1914, into a school facility for St. Bridget Middle School.
