KBS completed construction of the 162,407-square-foot Heronview Apartments in Sterling, Va. Heronview is a joint-partnership between Windy Hill Foundation and Flatiron Partners, Heronview has 96 units of affordable and workforce housing in the mixed-use development of Kincora located in the heart of Loudoun County.
More than 60 people attended the grand opening including Senator Jennifer Boysko, Loudoun County Chair Phyllis Randall, and County Supervisor Ron Meyer as well as new residents of Heronview.
“Heronview personifies a new level of excellence in affordable housing”, says Hollis Fitch, Managing Partner of Flatiron Partners. “With high quality construction and state of the art amenities, the deserving residents of Loudoun County have a safe and attainable place to call home.”
Heronview offers spacious, energy-efficient one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Floorplans include both garden-style and townhome units. Heronview amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, social gathering spaces, a community laundry room and a computer lab. In addition to the onsite amenities, Heronview residents will have access to miles of nature trails along Broad Run.
