Old Manchester Lofts
This adaptive reuse project transformed the old Southern Distributing warehouse, originally built in 1918, into a four-floor, 80-unit condominium building, consisting of one and two-bedroom units with large windows and an open floor plan. The buildings original architectural features were carefully incorporated into the design of the main corridors and residences, and the exposed brick and supporting timber beams were brought back to their original luster. Individual balcony's face into the four-story central atrium and a band of windows on the top level offer a dramatic view of the city skyline. |
