White Oak Village

The Shops at White Oak Village is a 900,000-square-foot retail development that mixes a pedestrian-friendly shopping design with big box retailers.

The focal point of the lifestyle center is a pedestrian-friendly “Main Street” lined on both sides by smaller retailers. Between the two store groupings is a parklike strip with gardens, fountains, a fire pit and outdoor seating.

KBS work involved a 62,000-square-foot Ukrop’s grocery store, a 170,000-square-foot Lowe’s and 20,000-square-foot PetSmart, a 17,000-square-foot Office Max and the multi-tenant shopping center, including upfits for 16 retailers. The Shops at White Oak Village is located on a 136-acre parcel in eastern Henrico County which was once was the home for Viasystems Technology Corporation.
