The Fresh Market

KBS fit-out this build-to-suit, 22,625 SF shell housing a high-end supermarket store. The construction consisted of a main sales floor and a mezzanine level for mechanical, electrical and refrigeration equipment.

The building design reflects the local context in terms of materials and colors while establishing a unique look for the boutique food store. The contemporary image relates to the forward thinking of the company while warm materials speak to the comfort of the users.

While performing the fit-out construction, KBS worked concurrently with a separate general contractor finishing the shell building and multiple vendors working directly for The Fresh Market. This simultaneous work required close coordination and sequencing to achieve an aggressive 15 week schedule.
