More than 40 acres were cleared to make way for the new 146,349-square-foot middle school. The project included 44 classrooms, a gymnasium and a two-story educational wing. The project also included baseball, soccer and football fields.

The site is adjacent to an 18th century manor house and special considerations had to be made to preserve the historical integrity of the home, such as designing underground utilities to be placed around the perimeter of the property.
