Construction involved the renovation of three bunk-style minimun security detentional buildings situated on the 1806-acre Hanover Juvenile Correctional Center was established in 1898.
The facility has been State-owned and operated since 1920. The center currently offers services and programs for males, ages 12-18, and is budgeted to accommodate 154 juveniles.
