The 71,000-square-foot school was renovated into 40 luxury "open design" loft style apartments.
Maintaining the historical integrity of the building, the interior corridors, ramps and stairs were retained as common area. Exterior and interior renovations of remaining items were done so in accordance with National Park Service Standards. The classrooms were converted into 30 one- and two- bedroom apartments that included a new interior floor level. The original stage in the auditorium was integrated into a 2000+ square-foot apartment.
Distinctive landscaping, dramatic exterior lighting and attractive fencing have dramatically improved the site. The playground was converted into parking and picnic areas.
