George Cramp, superintendent, and Wayne Harrell, senior project manager, have received their Healthcare Construction Certification (HCC) from the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE). ASHE is an organization of healthcare facility managers, architects, engineers and contractors.

Cramp has more than 31 years experience and is currently working on the Adult Mental Health Treatment Center at Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg, VA. Harrell has more than 38 years experience and has completed more than $200 million worth of healthcare projects. Both are committed to making sure KBS’s healthcare client needs are exceeded in terms of quality, schedule and cost.

The HCC program was developed to strengthen the awareness and knowledge of all professions associated with healthcare construction. The program focuses on ensuring quality control within the construction process, assessing risk management issues, identifying challenges and solving problems, and understanding the needs and expectations of owners as it applies to healthcare construction projects.
