KBS Breaks Ground in Fort Norfolk

KBS is excited to break ground on Riverview Lofts, the newest project in the Fort Norfolk section of Norfolk! The 85,000 square foot complex on the Elizabeth River will convert the former Krisp-Pak Building into 81 one- and two-bedroom loft units and includes a pool and deck overlooking the river as well as a  workout area.

"Riverview Lofts is a challenging adaptive re-use project," said Matt Gass, KBS's Vice President - Hampton Roads Office. "We'll be making repairs to several key structural elements as well as contending with many floor slab variations. It's great to see another improvement on the Norfolk waterfront.”

Andrew McCullough with Portsmouth-based 139 Riverview LLC and City of Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim kicked off the groundbreaking ceremony at Riverview Lofts last month.

The project was design by Commonwealth Architects of Richmond.
