The KBS Institute
From the first days on the job, employees are enrolled in the KBS Institute, a training program that prepares employees for changing job demands and offers the skills to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
All employees receive training in five focused core skill areas:
- Effective Communication
- KBS Project Delivery System
- Leadership
- Safety Management
- Team Building
The flexibility of the KBS Institute allows additional training tailored to each employee's specific job needs. The institute uses several training approaches, including a monthly lecture series and supplementary development sessions with hands-on technology training. The final program component encourages employees to develop their own action plans helping them advance professionally at KBS.
