A project manager is in charge of supervising the business aspects of a construction project including owner and architect communication, submittals, procurement, budgeting and scheduling. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in construction, architecture, engineering or related field experience and five or more years of applicable experience.
Superintendents oversee daily field operations to ensure that work is in compliance with contract documents and on schedule. Superintendents also enforce safety policies among everyone on site. Qualifications include five or more years of industry experience.
