Whether “Back to School”means attending grade school or going off to college, it’s an exciting time for both students and parents. This is the time of year when parents used to compile lists of supplies – pens, pencils, notebook paper, textbooks, etc. These days they shop around for lap top computers, tablets, digital cameras, and the like. School systems / educators have embraced these new technologies and have incorporated them into the classroom. With the use of Smart Boards and computers, teachers are able to peak students’ interests in subjects with virtual lessons and videos. 21st Century skills are essential to be successful in this day and age, and these skills prepare students for their future in a digital workforce.
KBS is proud to be a part of this movement by assisting schools in building new facilities for new generations. We have helped create institutions that not only provide new technological capabilities, but also state-of-the-art laboratories for the sciences, flexible classroom spaces and fitness / recreational areas.
